We are a community of adult Spanish learners who want to speak Spanish at a high level and to make a positive impact on Latino society. We distribute our SpanishPower™ Basic to Expert Level course on this site in a free version through The Claro Initiative and in an upgraded premium version for students who choose one of our tutoring membership plans. SpeakSpanish.com is a subsidiary of Bilingual America, a nationally respected training institute that has been in business since 1992.

The Claro Initiative is a national initiative that provides a high-quality Spanish learning experience and course at no charge to professional adults who want to make a positive impact through their Spanish. Membership is open to adults in the areas of medical, business, mental health, education, ministry, and legal.

This is a high-quality course designed to help learners reach high-level results. Most students, who follow instructions and stay consistent, are able to reach 80 to 90 percent proficiency of a native speaker upon completion of the Expert Level of the SpanishPower™ course. We help our students learn to properly leverage their time with the course so they can also learn well even if they have a very busy schedule.

1. We are Latino social entrepreneurs. Basically, that means we are a Latino-owned company that believes in running a business that also has a positive social impact on our people. The Claro Initiative is a social initiative funded privately by Bilingual America (our parent company) and some other generous individuals who want to make a difference. By helping professional adults who want to make a difference learn Spanish, we help the Latino populace through them.

2. Many people who want or need to learn Spanish well to make a positive impact cannot afford a quality course. We want to be a positive force in their lives so they can, in turn, be a source of help to others in the Latino community.

3. The reality is that many people would never try our fantastic course unless we let them try it at no charge. Many of these people, when they become serious about learning Spanish well, and have grown to trust us, will then upgrade to one of our Premium Membership plans which include one-on-one coaching and tutoring. It's absolutely the best way to approach learning the Spanish language. These purchases also help support the overall mission. We do not pressure or obligate anyone to purchase anything to participate in the course. These are completely optional services.
