Instructions to Enjoy the Paced Singing™.

1. Download and print the words to the song for any listing. A .pdf file listed under each song.
2. Get your source music. This is your “sing-along” track. We will give you the search term you need to type in at Itunes to get the exact version that matches the words on the PDF file.
3. Sing along and enjoy! Allow yourself to feel the flow and movement of the music. This is not an analytical exercise. Simply experience the rhythm and movement! It will greatly help your Spanish language flow and movement over time.

Bésame Mucho

Performed by Andrea Bocelli. This song was written by Mexican songwriter Consuelo Velázquez in 1940. She says that at the time she wrote the song she had never been kissed which may account for her longing to be kissed a lot as “bésame mucho” literally means “kiss me a lot.”

Mi Bendición

This Paced Singing is a beautiful ballad written by perhaps the Latino world's greatest songwriter, Juan Luis Guerra. The song is called, Mi Bendición which means, My Blessing. It is a beautiful love song he wrote for his wife. Practice it and then sing along with him to your significant other!

Today Mexico celebrates 200 years of independence and I thought the best way for you to catch the spirit of this day is to sing one of Mexico's beloved patriotic songs along with one of their most beloved and iconic singers, Pepe Aguilar.

Piel Canela

This very famous and beloved song is performed by Bobby Capo, a Puerto Rican song-writing legend. Bobby Capo was from Coamo, Puerto Rico, one of Puerto Rico’s oldest and most traditional towns located on the south side of the island.

Santa la Noche

This moving version of “Santa la Noche” (O’ Holy Night) is sung by Marcos Witt. He pastors the Spanish-speaking church at Lakewood church in Houston, TX which is pastored by the mega-popular Joel Osteen. Marcos grew up in Mexico, the son of missionary parents. He is a four-time Grammy award winning Christian artist. The Hispanic church that hi pastors has an attendance of over 9,000 people on a weekly basis.

Noche de Paz

This beautiful version of "Noche de Paz" (Silent Night) is sung by Santos (Santitos) Colón, who was born in Puerto Rico. He performed with Tito Puento's Orchestra as well as with the once supremely successful, now defunct, Fania label. This is a beautiful traditional Christmas song that is just as revered in Latin America as in the English-speaking world. Practice it and bring a new dimension to your fiesta navideña.

Performed by Ana Gabriel. There is no more famous section of a Latino song than “Ay, Ay, Ay, Ay, canta y no llores.” Cielito Lindo is a classic Mexican ranchera song originally composed in 1882. It has stood the test of time and history.
