The Claro Initiative is about creating a movement. It's about creating a large group of bilingual people who can effectively penetrate and influence the Latino culture for good.

It might seem crazy to believe that we can create a major groundswell here but I believe we can. Will you join me? The truth is that without you, nothing, absolutely nothing, happens!

Comment by Jane Arnold on September 5, 2011 at 7:51am: Recently, I've read in a "New Early to Rise" column that when one can possibly help others (we all have that capacity and were born to do that) but is not willing to take action for fear of failing or looking ridiculous, then it ultimately comes down to just being selfish. Imagine if Mother Teresa, Suze Orman, Ricardo or anyone who has an impact on others never took the plunge to do something that they felt passionately about and never took that risk? At times, I feel ridiculous and look silly trying to speak Spanish, but eventually I will get there!
