Zarigüeya has many different names in different Latin American countries: "raposa"(Ecuador), "tlacuache"(México),"rabipelado" (Venezuela),"tacuasín" (en Centroamérica). Does anybody know any other names?

Yes, Dina, most of the people here in Texas that I have "consulted" about this, use a varient of "tlacuache." None knew how to spell that and most didn't pronounce the "L". "It sounded more like tecuache to me."
I'd like to get some suggested first names for our little girl--maybe incorporating some of the names above. Any ideas? I was thinking Zari or Zaria.
